Websites for Small Businesses

Hi, I'm Kaylee

Your website meets your clients before you do.

Think about it. Before anyone calls, texts, or walks in, they've already looked you up. Whatever they find in those first few seconds is your first impression. A clean, organized, professional website says "these folks have it together" before you've said a word.

I started building websites because so many great local businesses are stuck on a Facebook page, or a cheap template site that's outdated and a little cringey, and they know it. You deserve better, and it shouldn't cost agency prices to get it. So here's my deal: $1,000 flat, unlimited edits until you love the design, a free mockup before you pay a dime, and when it launches, it's yours. Not mine. Not Facebook's. Yours.

Start With a Free Mockup
  • $1,000 flat, and that's the whole price
  • Free mockup before you spend anything
  • unlimited edits until you love it
  • 100% yours. Domain, site, content, all of it
real talk

A good website saves everyone time

Whether you're running on a Facebook page or a template site from 2015 that makes you wince a little, here's what a real website does for you and your clients.

01

It's your first handshake

People look you up before they ever reach out. A clean, professional site with everything laid out in order tells them you're legit and easy to work with. An outdated one quietly tells them the opposite.

02

No more repeat texts

Hours, prices, what to expect, how to book, what to bring. When it's all on your site, organized and easy to find, you stop typing the same long message to every new client, and they stop having to ask.

03

People actually find you

When someone Googles "near me," or asks ChatGPT for a recommendation, businesses with real websites show up first. Tourists and new folks in town can't find a Facebook page they don't know to look for.

04

It belongs to you

Your Facebook page belongs to Facebook, and a template site belongs to whoever's charging you monthly. This one is yours, and it looks right on a phone, which is where your customers are.

Hammer Down River Excursions

Hells Canyon jet boat tours, guided fishing, and cast & blast trips. Family run and veteran owned.

Their old website had actual malware on it. Customers were getting warning screens instead of booking trips. Now they've got a nine-page site that's fast, lays out every trip with real pricing and what to expect, takes bookings around the clock, and is set up to show up in Google and in AI tools like ChatGPT.

Best part? Mary in the office edits it herself. New prices, new photos, new trips, no waiting on a web guy.

Sage & Spur Photography

The site you're on right now. I built this one too.

My photography business used to live on a template builder that was slow, pricey every month, and never quite looked like me. So I built my own, the same way I build for clients: fast, phone-first, and every package, price, and answer laid out so people can book without having to ask.

If you like how this feels, that's a pretty good preview of what yours could feel like.

What to Expect, Start to Finish

Here's exactly how it goes. It's pretty hands-off for you, and the first step costs nothing.

  1. 01

Send me 3 sites you like

Any business, any industry. Just designs that catch your eye. Email or DM them over with a little about your business, and that's it. That's the whole first step.

  2. 02

    I build your free mockup

You see your actual future website, with your name and your look, before you spend a dime. No commitment, no awkward sales call. If it's not for you, no hard feelings.

  3. 03

Love it? We make it official

50% down ($500) starts the build, and the rest is due when we launch. We sign a short, plain-English agreement so we both know exactly what to expect.

  4. 04

    Your homework (it's short)

Your logo and colors if you have them (I can help if you don't). The photos and videos you already love. And your words. Got an old site? I'll carry over what works. Starting fresh? We draft it together, and I'll organize it all so your clients find what they need without having to ask.

  5. 05

    The build, with unlimited edits

I send you a live preview link and check in for feedback every day or two. Move this, change that, try a different color, swap the photo. We keep tweaking until you love it, and I mean that. There's no cap on edits before launch, and we go as fast or as slow as you'd like. My last build went live in a week and a half.

  6. 06

    Launch day

I point your domain at the new site and it's live. Then I walk you through your editing dashboard and send a little cheat sheet so you can find your way around.

  7. 07

    After launch, it's truly yours

Update wording, prices, and photos yourself anytime. It's set up so you can't accidentally break anything. Want bigger changes down the road? I'm in your back pocket for a small fee.

The Investment

One price. The whole thing.

I price it this way because I got tired of watching small businesses get quoted $5,000 and just give up and stick with Facebook. You know the price before we ever talk. That's how it should be.

No hourly billing. No surprise invoices. No "well, it depends."

Optional Add-On

Brand Photography Session

Photos aren't part of the build, and most businesses already have some they love. But if you want fresh ones, I'm a photographer first. Add a brand session for $500/hr and I'll come shoot your storefront, your people, and your product myself. No stock photos of random smiling strangers.

the things people ask

Website Questions, Answered

How much does a website cost?
$1,000 flat. That covers the design, the build, every page organized and written out, and unlimited edits until you love it. 50% down ($500) starts the build and the rest is due at launch. No hourly billing and no surprise invoices.
What is the free mockup?
A real design of your homepage, built with your business name and look, so you can see what your site could be before paying anything. Send 3 websites you like and I build it. If you don't love it, no hard feelings.
How many edits do I get?
Unlimited. We keep going until you love the design. I'd rather make one more round of changes than have you settle for something that's almost right. Once it launches, you can keep updating the wording and photos yourself anytime.
How long does it take?
Usually a couple weeks from go to live. My last build launched in a week and a half. It mostly depends on how quickly we can trade feedback, and we go as fast or slow as you'd like.
Can I edit the site myself?
Yes. Your site comes with a simple editing dashboard for wording, prices, and photos. No coding. Layout and design stay locked so nothing breaks by accident.
What does "owning everything" mean?
Your domain, your site, your hosting, and your content are all set up under your business's own accounts. I build it and hand you the keys. You are never stuck with me to keep it running.
Are there ongoing costs?
Your domain name, usually $15 to $25 a year. The hosting I set up is free for most small business sites. Beyond that, nothing, unless you want me back for bigger changes down the road.
I already have a website. Can you redo it?
Absolutely. A lot of my clients are coming off an old template site that never quite looked like them. I carry over anything that's working, drop what isn't, and make sure your Google listing, email, and booking links keep working through the switch.
Do I have to be in Idaho?
Nope. I'm in Grangeville and most of my clients are around north-central Idaho, but the whole process works over email, start to finish.
What about photos?
Photos aren't part of the $1,000. Most businesses already have photos they love, and I'll use those. If you want fresh ones, I'm a photographer first, so you can add a brand photography session for $500 per hour and I'll come shoot your storefront, your people, and your product myself.
Do you do logos and branding?
If you have a logo and colors, send them over. If you don't, I can help put together a simple logo, color palette, and fonts as part of the build.
Will my site show up in Google?
That's a big part of why I build the way I do. Every site is fast, phone-first, and set up with the behind-the-scenes markup that helps Google and AI tools like ChatGPT understand what you do and where you are. Nobody can honestly promise a ranking, but you'll be set up right.
What if I need changes after launch?
Small wording and photo changes you do yourself in your dashboard. Bigger things like new pages, a new look, or a new booking system are a quick quote, and I'm always a message away.
